Education Governance - What it means for CLD
This area was created to allow CLD practitioners to share views and discuss feedback on the Education Governance review started by the Scottish Government.
The main driver for this area was the short-term action for the Scottish Government to consult on:
“Establishing an Education Workforce Council for Scotland which will take on the responsibilities of the GTCS, the Community Learning and Development Standards Council and register other education professionals. The full scope of the functions to be undertaken by this body will be included in our consultation on our Education Bill in autumn 2017.”
The Scottish Government Empowering Schools consultation closed on the 30 January.
