Writing Retreat opportunity

Ever wondered what a Writing Retreat is all about?

The idea of Writing Retreats is about individual or collaborative writing within a supportive group setting, where a bit of encouragement or feedback can help. We understand that time is always difficult to find. Overcoming barriers to writing is one way of helping and retreat does that. So, maybe you'd like to try a writing retreat and if the following sounds familiar...you really should!

Whether you are one of our many Standards Council members who have important stories to tell about how CLD practice changes lives, or if you have a project evaluation still sitting on its shelf, or perhaps you are a recent graduate thinking about sharing the findings of you research dissertation, then give retreat a go!

Dr Annette Coburn at UWS runs a regular Friday retreat every week for Undergraduate and Doctoral students. This is an open invitation for CLDSC members. To find out more or join those retreats, please see the attached information (which includes the meeting link).

Happy writing days!
On behalf of your CLDSC Professional Learning Committee.
