Engaging adults in learning to increase their financial capabilities

We have had some success in engaging adults in literacy provision to improve numeracy, budgeting, money management etc in Scottish Borders. However, we would like to develop more effective ways of reaching out to parents and carers to work with them on money management. So far our successes have been when this has been integrated into another learning opportunity which sounds more appealing (and is less stigmatising) than "money management" eg budget cooking. I'm very keen to hear about experience of engagement elsewhere, good and bad, particularly with parents/carers in the early years. Please get in touch if you have experience you'd like to share.
