CRITICAL REFLECTION AND PEER MENTORING IMAGE

This activity takes the form of a discussion with your peers and your peer mentor. It is a chance for you to engage with other colleagues that are taking part in the induction process and get feedback from experienced CLD practitioners.

You may wish to share your submission from Activity 1.3.

Before submitting a topic for discussion in the online forum around what you have drawn from your study on the programme so far please take the opportunity to review the extract from ‘The Impact of Community Work: How to gather Evidence’ by Karen McArdle et al 2020.’

Submit one new discussion topic to the forum to highlight something you have learned in unit one about being a competent and reflective practitioner and invite other forum members and peer mentors to join in with the discussion. (For example, it might have encouraged you to revisit the values and ethics of CLD. You might be asking yourself questions about how this applies to your current role).

Reply to the discussion on 'The 7 Competences in Action', by sharing an example of how you have applied one of the competences in your workplace.
