Professional Approval
For the Professional approval submission we need you to use your gut reaction from what you have read and consider:
- Do you feel we would be able to approve this course?
- Capture the questions or discussions you think we would want to have.
We have provided a proforma which would be supplied to approval panel members to guide them on what they should be considering. Please complete the comments area for the sections
- Background, purpose and rationale
- Participants
- Content
- Staff
- Assessment
- Monitoring and evaluation
These are the sections we will focus on during the exercise.
For the purpose of the exercise, where there is reference to Appendices/supporting document we will assume that these are correct and provide the evidence required.
One of the areas we will be asking you to consider is around any recommendations or conditions for approval. You should jot down some thoughts on this to bring along with you. Details of what recommendations and conditions are can be foudn in the Joining Instructions.
