Getting to know the people you will be working with can feel intimidating at first. Introduce yourself and make time to build relationships from the very beginning. It's vital that you know who the key decision makers are and their roles and responsibilities. A chat over a sandwich at lunchtime can be a great icebreaker and ease you in to the fold. There may even be a buddy system, somebody who can give you the inside track.
