The CLD Standards Council will hold and process the course enrolment data, (which includes - course progression and completion) and information, activities and course materials submitted to any course elements in accordance with EU Data protection guidelines, for the specified duration of the course, or a time-frame agreed by course participants.The course enrolment data and submitted content will be held predominantly in the i-develop online system.
The data can be viewed by approved personnel such as course tutors and managers and by a selected group of Buddies or Peer Mentors assigned to the course. Approved personnel may download submitted entries for review in line with CLD Standards Council guidelines. Downloaded material will be held securely, not shared with any other parties and destroyed once the review task is complete. CLD Standards Council staff, technical system staff and course development contractors will also be able to access the data for maintenance and improvement purposes. From time to time, anonymised course enrolment data will be extracted from the database and analysed for research and monitoring and these statistical analyses will be shared with decision-makers including the CLD Standards Council Committee members and may also be published in statistical form in CLD Standards Council reports. Course participants can access their course data through the i-develop platform using their unique username and password. They can manually remove content or request to be removed from a course or request to have their enrolment data removed at any time.
