What is it and what does it involve?

This course was created by volunteers from the CLDSC Professional Learning Committee. They aimed to create a course that introduced members of the CLDSC to the purpose and functions of the Council and what is expected of membership based on its professional standards.  Each participant on the course is allocated to a mentor to help guide them through it and each mentor has extensive experience as a member of the CLDSC.

Who is it for?

The CLDSC Professional Induction Course is for new and existing members of the CLD Standards Council Scotland. Associate or Registered membership of the council is an essential prerequisite for participating in the course. If you’re not already a member of the CLDSC you can find out more about membership on our website

How do I sign up?

You can register your interest in participating in a cohort via this Smart Survey link. A rolling list is kept and when a space becomes available on a cohort you will be contacted approximately 3 weeks before it’s due to begin to secure your place. Places are allocated on a first come, first served ordered basis.

What if I have questions?

Please email the CLDSC Contact mailbox with any questions you may have and a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
