Info on Glow

I spoke with Kirsty McFaul recently. Kirsty leads on Glow. A recent survey suggests that L.A.CLD staff  are welcomed on Glow by local authorities. Third Sector staff may be added as partners.   I asked for some info to share  - see below.

Glow is Scotland’s nationally available digital environment for learning. A Glow account provides access to a number of web services and procured resources that allow users to create, collaborate and innovate.

You can get access via your Local authority Key contact from this list here.

If you already have a username and login click here to access the launch pad and start your journey.

The launch pad looks like this

The symbols on the left hand side of the screen allow you to look at your LA launch pad (tiles selected by your LA – LAs can purchase apps  so you may find you have other apps you can access for free), the National launch pad and finally a launch pad you can add your favourite tiles too.  You can select tiles to add to your launch pad by clicking on the App Library tab in the top menu bar.
