- best practice in preparing for placement
- Placement Agency profile
2. Aims of Section
Participants will:
· understand how the course operates and the support available to them during the course
· improve their knowledge of the CLDSC Practice Placement Standards and how they can be applied in practice
· increase their awareness of best practice for organisations in preparing for taking a placement
4. Pre Session Task
Ascertain if your organisation already has a profile they share with Education Institutions and Student CLD Practitioners ahead of the placement. If so please share with fellow participants at this pre-course introductory session.
5. Assessment/Learning Reflection
Short reflection on where they have used CLDSC Ethics, Values and Competences in their own practice and/or
Week 1 - Complete the Catching Confidence questionnaire and reflect on
the question "What do I hope to get from this course?". Upload a video
of these reflections to the forum.
